Overview
Moving On Tyne and Wear is led by Mental Health Concern.
They have specialist support through the North East Autism Society to work with those who have neurological diversities and SEND needs.
Support available
The service supports adults aged 18 and over, with physical and mental health barriers, to help them:
- improve their confidence
- access training
- with education
- with volunteering
- with work opportunities
They also offer 1-2-1 bespoke support.
Who can access the service
To access the service you need to:
- be aged 18 and over
- be able to live and work in the U.K
- have a health barrier - this does not need to be diagnosed
How to access the service
You can refer yourself, or you can be referred by a support service, the job centre etc.

Once you've been referred, you will get a call to discuss the eligibility criteria. You will then have a face to face assessment within 21 days of the initial referral.
