Overview
The Northern Rights training team offer short courses and qualifications, including training on:
- confidence
- personal development
- employability courses
- qualifications in Maths, English and IT
Support available
The service works closely with specialist organisations to provide accessible support, equipment and resources.
IT equipment can be provided.
Sessions take place in small groups and in a well equipped, private, comfortable and accessible space.
Who can access the service
For personal development and employment courses:
- Over 19 years, unemployed and receiving benefits
- Over 19, not receiving benefits and not in work
For Maths, English and IT:
- Over 19, employed or unemployed who do not have a previous qualification in Maths, English and IT
How to access the service
For referral details, please visit their website.
After a referral, an Initial Contact Advisor will give an overview of the courses available.
Interested learners can then book onto the next available date.
If more specialised support is needed, you will be directed to the appropriate service.
