Overview
The Final Puzzle service is provided by Auxillia Youth Services CIC.
The service provide a bespoke youth service.
All programmes are flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of all young people.
Auxillia Youth Services support young people who:
- are suffering from low confidence and self-esteem
- have difficulty communicating and socialising
- have poor emotional wellbeing
- have poor resilience to cope with everyday tasks
- lack interest and don't feel in control
- want to do something but not sure what
Support available
The service offers:
- one-to-one intensive support and mentoring
- individualised personal educational development programmes
- support in finding employment or training
- mental health support
The service is based in a community setting, making it accessible and comfortable for learners.
Each person is given a programme that can be suited to their needs.
Time is taken to understand the young person and the programme is then developed with them, to make sure they are going to enjoy it.
They can part take in vocational activities and work experience in the centre.
An initial assessment is made with the young person to find out what their needs are, and how they can be met.
The service offers different programmes:
- Key Steps
Aimed at 10 to 14 year olds. Delivering a range of activities in a range of topic areas covering citizenship, environment education, personal finance education, enterprise, English and Maths. - Short Courses
Aimed at those 16 years old and above. Flexible courses developing positive character traits in young people like resilience, self-regulation, emotional and social skills. - Employability Development
Aimed at those 16 years old and above. An activity-based approach to raising learners' awareness about employer expectations and the working environment. Creating CVs, job search support, interviews skills and techniques. - Bede Ward Youth Project
Open access youth club for anyone over the age of 8 years old. A mix of structured activities, including sports, crafts, cooking, gaming, days out, the chance to take part in Youth Achievement Awards and The Key UK projects and a place for young people to come and chill, whilst the opportunity for support from dedicated youth workers.
Who can access the service
Open to people aged between 10 and 25.
An assessment will be made on referral to understand the needs of the young person to make sure they can be fully met.
The service can work with other organisations to support a young person.
How to access the service
Anyone can make a referral by phone or email.
Once a referral has been made, a member of the team will be in touch to discuss further.
